The HMS Spartan was a British light cruiser of the Bellona class. She was built by Vickers Armstrong in Barrow-in-Furness during 1939, and launched during 1942.

L' HMS Spartan era un incrociatore leggero Britannico della Classe Bellona. Fu costruito a Barrow-in-Furness dai cantieri Vickers-Armstrong nel corso del 1939, e varato nel 1942.

She took a part in the Allied landing operations at Anzio, and on January 29, 1944, she was sunk by a glider bomb from a German aircraft off the coast of Anzio.
