     The Byzantine vessel of Yassi Ada
     (Bodrum) 625 A.D.

The Byzantine Ship of Yassi Ada was a trade vessel carrying a cargo of about 800 amphorae, sunk off Yassi Ada near Bodrum (the ancient Alicarnassos) during 625 A.D. 

La Nave Bizantina di Yasi Ada era una nave commerciale che portava un carico di circa 800 anfore, affondata al largo di Yassi Ada presso Bodrum (l'antica Alicarnasso) nel 625 D.C.

The hull was about 30m long, and lies at a depth of about -37m. 
Parts of the hull and of the cargo have been recovered and a beautiful reconstruction is now exposed in the Archaeological Museum of Bodrum.

Lo scafo era lungo circa 30m, ed ora giace a una profondità di circa -37m. 
Parti dello scafo e del carico sono stati recuperati, e presso il Museo Archeologico di Bodrum oggi è esposta una magnifica riproduzione della nave.
