    The findings of Rompetimones rock 
    (Santi Petri Isl, Cadiz) I-II Century A.D.

Parts of a large broze statue (left), representing the Emperor August have been recovered near the dangerous seiche known as Rompetimones (rudder-breaker), off Sancti Petri Island, near Cadiz. The bust, dressed with a rich armour, a leg and a hand were recovered from a depth of -2m.

Vicino alla pericolosa secca chiamata Rompetimones (sic!), al largo dell'Isola di Sancti Petri presso Cadice, sono state recuperate parti di una grande statua bronzea (a sinistra), che raffigura l' Imperatore Augusto.
Il busto, che veste una ricca armatura, una gamba ed una mano sono stati recuperati da una profondità di -2m.
