The HMS Onslow was a P-class British destroyer, built in Hebburn-on-Tyne by Hawthorn Leslie & Co. during 1940, and launched during 1941.
After the launch she was renamed HMS Pakenham.

L' HMS Onslow era un cacciatorpediniere Britannico della Classe P, costruito ad Hebburn-on-Tyne nei cantieri Hawthorn Leslie & Co. nel corso del 1940, e varato nel 1941.
Dopo il varo fu ribattezzato HMS Pakenham.

On April 16, 1943, the HMS Pakenham sustained a fight with some Italian destroyers off the Southern Coasts of Sicily.
She suffered very severe damages, and had to be scuttled South of Licata.

Il 16 Aprile 1943 l' HMS Pakenham ebbe uno scontro con alcuni cacciatorpediniere Italiani al largo delle coste meridionali della Sicilia.
L' HMS Pakenham fu gravemente danneggiato, e l'equipaggio dovette affondarlo a Sud di Licata.
