The HMS Turbulent operated in Mediterranean.
On February 23, 1943, the submarine left Algiers for a patrol in the Tyrrhenian Sea.
On March 12, the HMS Turbulent was cruising off La Maddalena Island (North-Eastern coasts of Sardinia) that was an important base of
the Italian Navy. Here she was spotted and attacked by Italian motor torpedo-boats, that sank the submarine by depth charges off Capo Ceraso.
The HMS Turbulent was lost with all hands.

L' HMS Turbulent operò in Mediterraneo.
