    The Romagna tanker near Cagliari 1943

The Romagna was an Italian tanker, sunk during August 1943 after the collision with a floating mine. The visit to the stern (right) is suggestive and spectacular.

Il Romagna era una neve cisterna Italiana, affondata nell'Agosto 1943 in seguito alla collisione con una mina galleggiante. La visita alla sezione di poppa (a destra) è assolutamente  spettacolare.

The bow was completely broken off and devastated by the explosion, but the hull (left) is still in good conditions and lies in navigation trim on a sandy bottom at a depth comprised between -32m and -43m.

La prua fu completamente devastata e divelta dall'esplosione, ma lo scafo (a sinistra) è ancora in buone condizioni, e giace in assetto di navigazione su un fondale sabbioso, ad una profondità che va da -32m a -43m

A large anchor (right) lies on the bottom close to the hull. 
A number of fishing net entangled on the hull make the dive dangerous.

Una grande ancora (a destra) giace sul fondo vicino allo scafo. 
Una gran quantità di reti da pesca impigliate nello scafo costituiscono un pericolo per l'immersione.
