The HMS Lance  was a British L-class destroyer, built in Scotstown by Yarrow Shipbuilders Ltd. during 1939 and launched during 1940.

On April 9, 1942, the HMS Lance was in La Valletta harbour. Here she sank during an aircraft bombing.
The hull was later raised.
