The HMS Gallant was a G-class British destroyer, built in Glasgow by A.Stephens & Sons during 1934 and launched during 1938.

On January 10, 1941, the HMS Gallant was cruising in the Straits of Sicily when she collided with a floating mine.

The British destroyer suffered serious damages, but was still floating and could be towed to Malta for repairs.
Here the HMS Gallant was devastated during an aircraft bombing. 
She couldn't be repaired any more.
