    The Galliano trawler 
    off Santa Margherita harbour 1994

The Galliano was a wooden trawler, sunk in Santa Margherita harbour. 
The hull was recovered and towed out of the harbour: now the wreck lies on a sandy bottom at a depth of -24m, just in front of Regina Elena Hotel.

Il Galliano era un peschereccio in legno, affondato nel porto di Santa Margherita.
Lo scafo fu sollevato dal fondo e rimorchiato fuori dal porto: ora il relitto giace su un fondale di sabbia ad una profondità di -24m, proprio di fronte all'Hotel Regina Elena.

The dive on the Galliano is very easy and suitable also for scuba-diving beginners: the bridge is collapsed, but the hull is colonized by beautiful, colorful creatures.

L'immersione sul Galliano è molto facile, e adatta anche a subacquei principianti: il ponte è collasato, ma lo scafo è colonizzato da belle creature colorate.
