    The "Rimorchiatore" (Tug) 
    near Punta Monte Grosso (Deiva Marina)

The "Rimorchiatore" (Tug) sunk off Punta Monte Grosso was a big military tug: we have no details on the cause of the sinking, even the date is unknown. Maybe the tug sank in consequence of adverse weather conditions: her structures appear to be intact. But we have no doubt the tug was a military ship: she was armed with several guns or machine guns, removed after the sinking.

Il Rimorchiatore affondato al largo di Punta Monte Grosso era un grosso scafo militare: non ci sono dettagli sulle cause dell'affondamento, ed anche la data è sconosciuta. Forse il rimorchiatore è affondato a causa di avverse codzizioni meteorologiche: lo scafo sembra essere intatto. Ma non ci sono dubbi che fosse un rimorchiatore militare: era armato con numerose mitragliere o cannoni, rimossi dopo l'affondamento: le piazzole e gli affusti sono ancora evidenti.

The wreck lies in navigation trim on a sandy bottom at a depth of -38m, 600m off the coast, and it is almost intact. 
The structures that hosted the weapons on the bow are now colonized by colorful creatures, and the stern is particularly interesting, with the imposing and well preserved bronze propeller.

Il relitto giace in assetto di navigazione su un fondale sabbioso, ad una profondità di -38m, ed a 600m dalla costa. Il Rimorchiatore è pressochè intatto.
Le piazzole dell'artiglieria di prua sono colonizzate da creature coloratissime, e la poppa è resa interessante dall'elica imponente e perfettamente conservata.
