The HMS Intrepid was an I-class British destroyer, built in Cowes by J.S.White & Co. during 1935, and launched during 1936.

The HMS Intrepid served as a minelayer destroyer in several missions off Northern European coasts.

L' HMS Intrepid fu impiegato come cacciatorpediniere posamine in numerose missioni al largo delle coste del Nord Europa.

On September 26, 1943, she was in the harbour of the former Italian base of Leros Island (Dodecanese) with the Greek destroyer Vassilissa Olga. 
Both the Allied destroyers were attacked and sunk by some German Junkers Ju-88 bombers.
