    The HMS Lively British I-class destroyer
    South of Crete 1942

 

The HMS Lively was an I-class British destroyer, built in Birkenhead by Cammell Laird Shipyard during 1938, and launched during 1940.

L' HMS Lively era un cacciatorpediniere Britannico della Classe I, costruito a Birkenhead nei cantieri Cammell Laird Shipyard nel corso del 1938, e varato nel 1940.

Just after she was completed, the HMS Lively moved in Mediterranean.
On May 11, 1942, she was spotted and attacked by some German Junkers Ju. 88 bombers. 
The HMS Lively was seriously damaged, and sank South of Crete. 

Dopo aver complatato l'allestimento, l' HMS Lively si trasferì in Mediterraneo.
L' 11 Maggio 1942 fu avvistato ed attaccato da alcuni bombardieri Tedeschi Junkers Ju 88.
L' HMS Lively fu seriamente danneggiarto dal bombardamento, ed affondò a Sud di Creta.
