Mycenaean vessel of Cape Iria
L'antica Nave di Capo Iria era una nave da carico di epoca Micenea, che trasportava una grande varietà di anfore e terracotte commerciali (a destra), affondato presso di Capo Iria nel corso del XIII Secolo A.C. .
Lo scafo giace su un fondale roccioso tra i -12m ed i -25m di profondità. Alcune ancore in pietra (a sinistra) sono state rinvenute a poca distanza dal relitto. . |

The
ancient Ship of Cape Iria was a Mycenaean trade vessel, carrying a rich
variety of amphorae and commercial pottery (right), sunk during
the XIII Century B.C. off Cape Iria.
The hull lies on a rocky bottom at a depth
comprised between -12m and -25m. Some stone anchors (left) were found in
proximity of the wreck.
