The Audace was an old Italian destroyer, sunk during the Second World War in the strait between Pag Island and the continent.

The Audace was the first Italian warship to dock in Trieste harbour at the end of the First World War: a dock and a monument in Trieste are dedicated to the destroyer that marked the annexion of the town to Italy after the fall of Austrian Empire. 

L' Audace era stato la prima nave da guerra Italiana ad ormeggiare nel porto di Trieste alla fine della I Guerra Mondiale: un molo ed un monumento a Trieste sono dedicati al cacciatorpediniere che segnò l'annessione della città all' Italia dopo la caduta dell' Impero Austriaco.

The hull of the Audace lies at a depth of more than -90m, and is almost intact.

Lo scafo dell' Audace giace ad una profondità superiore ai -90m, ed è pressochè intatto.
