Capulus hungaricus (Linnaeus, 1758)

The very characteristic Family Capulidae includes just few Species: two of them are present in Mediterranean. The shells show a characteristically curved apex. 
The individuals live adhering to the shells of other Molluscs, in a wide range of depths.

La caratteristica Famiglia Capulidae comprende solo poche Specie: due di esse sono rappresentate in Mediterraneo. le conchiglie mostrano un apice caratteristicamente incurvato a forma di berretto Frigio.
Gli individui vivono aderendo alle conchiglie di altre Specie di Molluschi, a profondità molto variabili.
