Haliotis lamellosa
Lamark, 1822

The Family Haliotidae includes some 100 Species, and has a worldwide distribution: just three of them are present in Mediterranean. The shape of the shell is characteristically ear-like, with a series of small holes near the anterior margin. The colour is very variable, depending on the diet of the individual.  

La Famiglia Haliotidae comprende circa cento Specie, ed ha distribuzione mondiale; solo tre sono rappresentate in Mediterraneo.
La conchiglia è caratteristicamente a forma di orecchio, con una serie di piccoli fori presso il margine anteriore. Il colore è molto variabile, in dipendenza della dieta dell'individuo.
