Carinaria lamarcki
Peron & Lesueur (body length 20mm)

A very transparent Gastropod, with true holoplanctonic habits (Carinaria lamarcki spends the whole life in the Plancton). The adult has a very large body, and the shell protect just a little part of the mollusc.

Cymbulia peroni (Blainville-Ducrotay)  (40mm)

Cavolinia inflexa (Lesueur) (shell length 6mm)

Pneumodermopsis ciliata
(Gegenbauer) (9mm)

Argonauta argo
Linnaeus ("shell" length 55mm)

A Pelagic Cephalopod: the female builds a leathery "shell" to preserve the eggs from the predators, and is much larger than the male.
