Common near the surface from June to November. Very transparent, fragile body. The tiny, iridescent rows of tentacles (cteni) act as delicate fins that slowly move the animal. Often in large populations.

Comune presso la superficie tra Dicembre e Giugno. Corpo molto trasparente. Le sottili file di tentacoli iridescenti (cteni) si muovono delicatamente come pinne per spostare l'animale. Si osserva spesso in popolazioni numerose.
