naval section of the Museum includes the private collections of the famous
Castellammare dockyards. Some beautiful models (among them, the brick Principe
Carlo and the battleship Regina Margherita) and the private
boats of Carlo III and of Princes Umberto and Margherita are some of the
most interesting pieces of the collection, that includes also ancient
navigation instruments, and a large gallery of precious paintings and
