The Museum celebrates the maritime traditions of Inousses, a group of little Islands in North-Western Aegean. 

Il Museo celebra le tradizioni marinare delle Inousses, un arcipelago di piccole isole nell'Egeo Nord-occidentale.

The collections include models, paintings, figure-heads, guns, navigation instruments; 33 models have been built by French prisoners of the Napoleonic wars. 
But the most interesting feature of the Museum is the collection of objects (bells, figure-heads, rudder wheels, pictures and drawings) coming from ships of local shipowners: the Inousses are also known as the Sailors Islands.   

Le collezioni includono modelli, pitture, polene, armi, strumenti di navigazione; 33 modelli sono stati costruiti da prigionieri Francesi delle guerre Napoleoniche. 
Ma la sezione più interessante del Museo è la collezione di oggetti (campane, polene, ruote di timone, dipinti e disegni) provenienti dalle navi degli armatori locali: le Inousses sono conosciute anche come le Isole dei Marinai.
