                Maritime Museum - Galaxidi

The town of Galaxidi, in the Gulf of Corynth, is the hart of Greek maritime tradition. 
The Museum is organized in three sections: Archaeology, Etnography and History of Navigation: this is, by far, the most interesting. 

La città di Galaxidi, sul Golfo di Corinto, è il cuore delle tradizioni marittime Greche.
Il Museo è organizzato in tre sezioni: Archeologia, Etnografia, e Storia delle Navigazione: quest'ultima è di gran lunga la più interessante. 

The paintings gallery is particularly rich and suggestive: about 500 vessels have been built in Galaxidi during the XIX Century: 136 of them are represented in the Maritime Museum.
The collections are completed by documents, carpenter tools, navigation instruments, and figure-heads.
