The Musum is dedicated to the fishery in Hvar. The collection includes several kind of lights for sardine fishing, rudder wheels, anchors, casks for salted fish, and an ancient tool, called svicalo, a kind of fireplace used to attract fishes during the night. 

Il Museo č dedicato alle attivitā di pesca a Hvar. La collezione comprende molti tipi di lampade per la pesca alla sardine, ruote di timoni, ancore, barili per il pesce salato, ed un attrezzo di antica origine, chiamato svicalo, una sorta di focolare per attrarre i pesci durante la notte.

Fishing tools and personal objects, and a remarkable reconstruction of the house of a fisherman give a vivid impression of the tough life of maritime people.

Attrezzi da pesca ed oggetti personali, ed una notevole ricostruzione della casa di un pescatore, danno una viva impressione della dura vita della gente di mare.
